Have a destination

“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.”

— Yogi Berra

Picture yourself in a car, with no GPS or road map, driving aimlessly. You might enjoy the ride, sure, but where will you end up? That’s the uncertainty you face when you don’t define your destination. A target, a goal, gives you a sense of direction.

Now, apply this to life. Without a clear vision or purpose, you’re just drifting. It’s like being in that car, but this time, the stakes are much higher. The vehicle is your life, the road is time, and the undefined destination is your future.

So, set a destination. Plot your course. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself somewhere, and that ‘somewhere’ may not be a place you want to be. Having a destination isn’t restrictive. It’s liberating. It’s your life’s GPS, guiding you where you want to go. Don’t end up just ‘someplace else’. Choose your destination, and steer your life in that direction.
