“Everything in your life turned out the way it did whether you worried about it or not.”

—Me, to myself

Sitting in the theater of life, you are both the actor and the audience. The curtain rises, the spotlight shines. You’re on. Moments spiral out into hours, days, and years. What happens, happens. Whether you clenched your teeth, worried, or watched it unfold—the script remained the same.

The sun rises, relentlessly. It doesn’t stress about clouds blocking its rays. It doesn’t fret about eclipses. It just rises. The river doesn’t worry about where it flows—it just flows. The mountains do not worry about erosion—they just exist. Nature embodies a deep wisdom, a sense of just being—unworried about the outcomes.

Why then, do we humans fret so? Worries become our unwanted roommates—they eat at our table, sleep in our beds, hogging the covers. They never pay rent but cost us our peace of mind.

Consider this: what if our worries are mere illusions? A smokescreen we conjure, a distraction from the reality of the now. Every moment, a choice. To dwell in worry or to dance in the present. Our life’s symphony continues its melody whether we worry or not. The notes do not change based on our fears.

So, dance in the rain, and soak in the sun. Laugh heartily, and cry when you must. Love with abandon. Let life happen, and it will happen whether you worry or not. The screenplay of your existence doesn’t change with your worry. You are the author, the actor, and the audience in the theater of your life.

Make it a performance to remember.
