Extra Medium Internet Delight

That’s right. Extra Medium. No need to adjust your browser – your internet viewing experience will automatically adjust to withstand the… extra.

Welcome to TheBoudreaus.com. We are Stephen and Michelle Boudreau and are currently being held responsible for what you are reading now. Whether you purposely made this site your latest internet destination or if you accidentally stumbled here via some miscalculated keyword search, you are a welcome guest.

We realize you have choices when cruising the web and hope that you won’t make a quick run for the emergency exits.

Why a Website?

It’s a simple principle at work, really. The web is taking over the world. The Boudreaus are taking over the web. The Boudreaus will soon take over the world. Plain. Simple. And easy to digest. Or something like that.

The Box Score

A quick post-presidential-debate-esque “fact check” on The Boudreaus reveals the following:

We are two happily married twenty-somethings with a knack for snacking on popcorn.

Relationships are central to our life. With friends. With family. With each other.

We like pleasant weather, sandy beaches, and mountains. So naturally we live in Dallas.

We heavily rely on the limitless, unearned grace of God. Not to mention the prayers of friends and family.

Movies are fun. Sports are great. Books are compelling. And fajitas are tasty.

We have big dreams. Beautiful families. And the greatest friends in the universe.

Carpe Diem, Baby!

Our hair is brown. But one day it will be grey. And it seems that life’s most predictable changes inevitably catch most of us by surprise. But if this side of heaven is truly fleeting, then it seems that living is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. An opportunity we believe is most definitely worth seizing.

The tyranny of the urgent rarely takes a break. So it requires an effort. Today is here. And we are too. Let’s make time to live.

Like a Fine Box of Wine

Think of this website as an excursion into the labyrinth of our always peculiar thought life. At times it can be as original as a Christmas fruitcake. Other times, it will be as creative as a Christmas fruitcake… on Valentines Day. Mostly, it will be like a fine box of wine. Not quite what you’d bring out to impress mixed company, but just charming enough to share with friends. And that’s what you are.

So look around. There’s a lot to see. And feel free to come back for seconds. There’s plenty in this box to go around.
