Live Free, a poem

A poem about the beauty of being comfortable with the people you love.

Sometimes I’m good
Sometimes I’m bad
I’m not only husband
I’m not only dad
Sometimes I’m wrong
Sometimes I’m right
Sometimes I’m peace
Sometimes I fight
Sometimes I’m false
Sometimes I’m true
You let me be me
I let you be you
We share in this gift
Of our various faces
We are who we are
In all various places
We give all of us
Every version we see
And this kind of love
Is the way to be free
