What we’re about isn’t making boxes for people to get their jobs done—although we do that well…we do that better than almost anybody in some cases.  But Apple is about something more than that. Apple at the core…it’s core value—is that we believe that people with passion can change the world for the better.  That… those people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones that actually do. 

Here’s to Apple, to the wizards in jeans and turtlenecks, who’ve shown us that the future isn’t something to fear or await—it’s something to create, with a dash of courage and a sprinkle of imagination. In their hands, a simple device becomes a portal, a gateway to a world brimming with possibilities, reminding us that sometimes, the most extraordinary magic is found not in the distant stars, but in the palm of our hands.

Aside: Now, don’t think I’m blind to the corporate game. I know Apple’s not in it just for the group hugs. But amidst the profit charts, there’s a glimmer of something grander—a vision that, at its core, genuinely aims to nudge humanity a smidge closer to the extraordinary.
